Ongoing pottery wheel course for all levels with a structured program adapted to each student. Learn to throw different forms, glaze your pieces and create functional ceramics in high-temperature stoneware.
Learning the pottery wheel takes time, practice and guidance. In our ongoing pottery wheel course, you will follow a structured program adapted to your level, whether you are sitting at the wheel for the first time or already have experience and want to continue developing your skills.
Classes are 2 hours per week, and the program progresses step by step so you can build confidence and control on the wheel while learning the full ceramic process, including glazing.
If you are starting from scratch, you will learn the essential wheel techniques: centering clay, pulling walls, and creating cylinders, bowls and other functional forms.
If you already have experience, you will refine your skills and explore more complex forms, such as narrow-neck vessels, plates, teapots, throwing series and altering wheel-thrown pieces. Our instructors will guide you throughout the process.
The minimum enrollment is 3 months, allowing enough time to progress through the program and complete your pieces.
We work exclusively with high-temperature stoneware and glazes suitable for functional ceramics, so the pieces you make can be used in everyday life.
Classes are taught by bilingual instructors (Spanish / English).

No previous experience is required.
What you will learn
Throughout the course you will progressively learn to:

Monthly fee: 120€ (includes all needed to follow the program)
Inscription fee and first monthly fee are charged either by credit card or by web inscription. Following monthly fees are charged by direct billing.
THIS COURSE INCLUDES:
- Stoneware (high temperature clay), tools, firings, glazes and colored slips
- your finished pieces go home with you.
- New students are welcome at each beginning of the month (submited to the availability of spots). Enrollment open throughout the year
For better personal tutoring we admit max. 8 students per class. The courses will take place with a minimum of 4 students.
