WEEKLY CONTINUOUS COURSES

New students are welcome at each beginning of the month, according to our availability of spots. Send us your registration with the day and time of your choice and we will confirm our availability. If you have inscribed and paid and there is no spots available, we’ll refund you the full amount paid.

The minimum enrollment is 3 months, to give us time to advance in the program and for you to have finished pieces to take home. The maximum time – as long you wish! The more you are with us, the more we can share with you our knowledge!

The inscription fee is not returned, but you will have the possibility to start in a different month to the one you had initially chosen, subject to availability of spots at the time of your incorporation (your enrollment will be valid for 6 months).

As spots are limited in both, it’s not possible to combine the two modalities in the same monthly payment.

If you have signed up for wheel throwing, we advise you to bring old clothes and shoes to change; if you do hand building, you don’t need it! We will have aprons and tools at your disposal. Yes – we appreciate your punctuality! If you have to change, arrive before so we can start the class in the scheduled time. The cleaning of the space and reorganization of the tools used will be done by each student, once the class has finished.

Of course! They’re all fuctional – there is nothing toxic, and they’re very brave – they don’t fear the microwave nor the dishwasher …

The inscription fee will remain valid for a period of 6 months from the moment you decide to take a break. When you wish to rejoin, let us know in advance, so we can let you know our availability of spots.

The spots are limited. If you wish to take a break and keep your spot, you must continue paying your monthly fee and the classes you’re going to miss can be made up a priori or a posteriori (meaning, before leaving or after your return, but always within your direct billing period). In case of cancellation of the course by you,  once it has already started, there will not be reimbursed neither of  monthly payment nor the inscription fee.

missed classes due to  personal reasons are managed as follows:

– You must be  up to date with the payment of your monthly fee – it is only possible to make up classes within your billing period.
– missed classes don’t compensate future monthly payments
– You must inform us of your absence at least 1 week prior your advance :
. So your spot can be used by another student (to make up their missed class)
. as well as you’ll use the spot of another student who notified his absence in advance
– There is a period of 1 month for the recovery of missed classes (always within your billing period)
– You can only accumulate 2 classes to make up per month (if your situation is different send me an email and we will see how we organize).
– You can recover lost classes a priori (that is, before your absence), but always within your billing period.
– The absence is notified by whatsapp to the studio’s phone; the recovery class is scheduled directly at the studio, with the teacher.
– booking your recovery class must be done 15 minutes before or after your class, never during the class.

We also enjoy the holidays! And they’re not recoverable classes. They get compensated by months of 5 weeks (where the monthly payment is the same). Howewer, the holidays defined by ElTornBarcelona can be recovered (always within your billing period and in a maximum period of 1 month after the holiday).

If you have signed up through the web, you have paid the first month and inscription fee with a card. The following monthly payments are charged by direct billing and are passed between 1st and 3rd of each month. Registration is completed and confirmed once your bank details are sent to us (you can provide them by email, telephone or in person at the studio). When you wish to take a break from the course, please let us know until the 15th of your last month with us – this way we do not include you in the next payment bill.

Let us know it before the 15th day of your last month with us – this way we don’t include you in the following direct billing. Most likely you won’t be able to glaze everything you have done in your last month of class. You’ll have 2 options: you can leave pending 1 class to use it later to come to glaze your pieces; or sign up for a an extra class (€ 30).

If there are pieces remaining to be fired, we’ll handle them and we’ll send you an email to let you know when to pick them up. Attention to this message! As we’re very limited in space, we’ll give you a collection period. The pieces not collected within the term are recycled.

ElTornBarcelona is not responsible for breakage, loss of parts or imperfections of pieces, nor for the pieces sent by mail.
We are not responsible for the belongings of the students in the studio premises.

OTHER COURSES:  WEEKEND, WEEK-LONG AND WORKSHOPS

Through the registration form that you will find in each of our courses. This form will contain all the information pertinent to the chosen course and the link to the payment platform. Registration is confirmed by full advance payment.

A cancellation made with a minimum of 30 calendar days prior to the date of the course will have 100% of the amount paid back, in the same way that was used to formalize the payment. It is also possible to request the change of date to a later course (subjected to the availability of spots).

Less than 30 calendar days and more than 16 calendar days prior to the course no refunds are made, but we will try to place you in the following courses with available spots.

Cancellation less than 15 calendar days prior to the course,  neither changes of dates nor refunds are possible. Although we always try to find solutions as much as possible …

If the course is canceled by the studio, then the student will receive 100% of the amount paid; or you can request a change of date to the next course with available places.

Refunds are not applicable in cases beyond our control, such as fire, flood, epidemics nor pandemics, public manifestations .

GIFT VOUCHER

We happily make a gift voucher for all MONOGRAPHIC courses, WEEKEND AND WEEK-LONG COURSES. (Gift vouchers are not issued  for continuous courses).

Through our registration form, in the section of the course that you’ve chosen to offer as a gift.  We need you to tell us who offers and the name and email of the person who receives the gift. The gift voucher is confirmed by the full advance payment. We will send you the gift voucher by email once the payment of the chosen course has been received.

The gift vouchers must be issued with date and course chosen, as in all cases, spots are limited. The person who receives the voucher has up to 30 days before the date of the course to request a change of date for a later course. Refunds are possible up to 30 days before the course (100% of the amount, by the same way that the payment has been confirmed). Later than 30 days before the courses, changes are not possible nor refunds are made. 

If not indicated otherwise, they will be ready to pick up in 1 month after the date of the course.
