This is what you’ll learn in this course
You`ll learn to make your own sushi set and decorate it with slips and sgraffito; or choosing a beautiful glaze.
First, we`ll teach you how to make the elements of your set (1 plate, a soy sauce bowl, a bowl for ginger and poses chopsticks), using the 2 most used hand building techniques: slabs and pinching
Then, we’ll teach you how to decorate your sushi set using the sgraffito technique, or delicate details with engobes, if you prefer.
We will fire your pieces and let you know when to pick them up.
They are 100% functional pieces, and can go to the microwave and dishwasher. And if sushi doesn’t seduce you, no problem! This set is versatile and can be used for breakfast, desserts … whatever you desire!
No previous experience needed. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t worked with clay before – we’ll guide you step by step.

For better personal tutoring we admit max. 9 students per class. The courses will take place with a minimum of 4 students. For groups of 6 or more students we can arrange special dates/schedules and programs.
