Monographic: Image Transfer – Monoprint

You’ll learn to transfer drawings made by you, digital images and collages, onto ceramic pieces, through traditional methods of image transfer, adapted to ceramic materials.

We’ll explore methods to awaken the creative process and design, using simple exercises with words and association of ideas, to turn them into patterns, images and concepts, which you’ll use to decorate your pieces.

You’ll decorate a breakfast set with plate, mug and bowl (previously prepared by the studio), using your own design, learning how to master the Monoprint technique.

No previous experience is necessary! It doesn’t matter if you’ve never made pottery before – we’ll guide you through all the steps.

What you must bring: Scissors, pencil to draw, rubber, colored pencil and a notebook for notes and to draw.
