This course is designed to give you a complete intro to ceramics, combining the two main ways of working with clay: handbuilding and the pottery wheel.
The program is structured into 2 weekends + 1 glazing session (Friday), allowing you to learn each technique in a clear, progressive and hands-on way.
During the handbuilding weekend, you will learn the two fundamental techniques: slab and coil, creating a full breakfast set (cup, bowl and plate) and a vase.
During the wheel weekend, you will learn the basics of wheel throwing: centering clay and throwing fundamental forms (cylinders and bowls).
Finally, during the glazing session, you will learn how to finish and decorate your pieces, completing the full ceramic process.
We work with high-temperature stoneware and glazes suitable for everyday use, so your pieces can become part of your daily life.
No previous experience is required.

What you will learn
During the course you will learn:
✅ Handbuilding (weekend 1):
- Slab technique

✅ Wheel (weekend 2):

- Understanding clay control on the wheel
You will select 6 of your best wheel-thrown pieces, which will be fired by our team.
✅ Glazing (Friday):
- Basic ceramic glazing techniques
- Applying glaze to your pieces
- Final finishing process
You will be able to collect your pieces approximately 2 weeks after glazing.
All pieces are functional and safe for microwave and dishwasher use.
