This course is designed for whom already know the basics of wheel throwing and want to take their skills to the next level.
Over three intensive days you will follow a program focused on developing control, precision and more complex forms on the wheel. The goal is to help you move from a basic level to a solid intermediate level.
To participate in this course you must already be able to cente at least 1 kg of clay, as this will be the starting point for exploring more advanced techniques.
Throughout the workshop you will work with more complex shapes, learn to handle larger amounts of clay and gain a deeper understanding of ceramic form and structure.
The course is 100% hands-on, with a strong focus on practicing techniques on the wheel.
We work with high-temperature stoneware, ideal for functional ceramics.
Why you should take this workshop
Once you know how to throw basic forms, the next challenge is refining technique and learning more advanced shapes.
This course is designed to help you move beyond the basics and gain greater control on the wheel.
During the workshop you will:
🔶 improve your centering technique
🔶 learn to work with larger amounts of clay
🔶 explore more complex ceramic forms
🔶 develop precision and structural control
🔶 expand your technical repertoire on the wheel
