Porcelain Jewelry…. Porcelain to wear…

This is what you’ll learn in this course

The possibility of creating jewelry that combines delicacy, strength, and elegance.
Lightweight, sophisticated, and durable pieces, with a finish that needs no embellishment to stand out.

That is what porcelain offers.

This workshop is designed as an excellent first approach to porcelain, working in small formats to gain a deep understanding of the material: how it behaves, how it is shaped, how it dries, and how it transforms in the kiln.

Everything you learn here can later be applied to larger-scale pieces, if your interest goes beyond jewelry.

Why porcelain for jewelry?

✅ It is a noble material, vitrified at high temperature and extremely strong
✅ Its whiteness and texture are pleasant even when unglazed
✅ It allows for elegant, contemporary, and long-lasting finishes
✅ It is ideal for ceramic jewelry thanks to its lightness and durability
✅ Many of its techniques can be easily transferred to larger objects (functional ware, wall pieces, sculptures)

What will you take away from this course?

🔹 A real understanding of how to work porcelain using hand-building techniques
🔹 Sculptural techniques applied to small formats
🔹 Unique jewelry pieces: necklaces, pendants, and brooches
🔹 Knowledge you can reuse in other ceramic contexts
🔹 Confidence to continue exploring porcelain on your own

This course is aimed at jewelers, ceramic artists, and accessory lovers.
No previous experience is required.
