How to sell your work and get excited about it!!
This marketing workshop is designed to give you everything you need to start or continue selling your work to a broader audience. No previous experience is necessary for this introductory class. It is designed for ceramicists but other people making art and objects may find it useful as well.
Are you a beginner at sales and not sure where to start?
Nervous about putting yourself out there to the marketplace?
Have you sold a few things but not sure about how to take it to the next level?
Aaron is here to hold your hand through these uncomfortable places and show you how to get excited about your marketing practice. YES it is a practice and a set of skills. But, they aren’t that difficult and you probably already have what you need to get going. DON’T spend any money on advertising, an agency, an art rep, or a retail rep. You don’t need to spend any money to market your work.
He’ll explain and share with you copies of all of the materials you need to prepare to sell your work and teach you how to research the shops or galleries that are appropriate for you. It’ll be covered both wholesale and customer direct sales (with more focus on wholesale since people seem to know less about it, and there is less information out there). You’ll get an email with copy of the slides used in class, so you can revisit them as you prepare for your marketing.
Program: we’ll talk about
