What if you could witness the way a master thinks as he creates?

The ceramist whose pieces ‘sing to the sky’
This is what you’ll learn in this course
Most artists keep their secrets.
But Carlos Cabo doesn’t believe in that.
For decades, you’ve seen his pieces in galleries and exhibitions.
You’ve admired those textures that seem to have a life of their own.
Those elongated figures with open mouths, as if they were singing.
But you haven’t had the chance to talk to him.
You’ve never been able to ask: How do you do it? What do you think about? Why that way?
Until now…
On November 13th, Carlos Cabo will open his creative process in a way he’s never done before.
For a full 4 hours, he will share:
🎨 HIS INTUITIVE PHILOSOPHY
How he works without restrictions, letting his hands and the clay have a conversation instead of controlling every movement.
🏺 HIS ANCESTRAL TECHNIQUES
Why he rejects industrial glazes and how he creates his own terra sigillata from natural clay gathered in the countryside.
💭 HIS CREATIVE MIND
The origin of his textures. Why each piece has a unique “genetic code.” How his rural childhood shaped his tactile sensitivity.
And best of all: You’ll be able to ask anything you want.
No forbidden questions.
No off-limits topics.
Just genuine conversation.
Carlos Cabo was born in Spain in 1951 and has devoted his life to artistic expression through photography, painting, and finally, ceramics—where he found his true voice. His work has been recognized internationally:
✦ Published in Colossal
“A diverse range of textures envelop the abstract and figurative ceramics of artist Carlos Cabo.”
✦ Featured in FreeYork Art
“Carlos Cabo’s singing clay figures: a fusion of tradition and innovation.”
✦ XII International Ceramics Symposium of Changchun
Representing Spain with three monumental works.
✦ Multiple exhibitions in Spain
From Salinas to Avilés, his pieces have captivated thousands.
“Texture is not just the skin of the piece. It’s the representation of its genetic code.”
